FORMULA ONE DRIVERS RACE WITH CAN-AMS & SEA-DOOS AS AUSSIE SURF LIFESAVERS
Apart of F1 Melbourne, Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda get onto the surf and sand to put the vehicles that keep Australia’s beaches safe to the test in another exciting episode of (Un)Serious Race Series behind the wheel of BRP products in an exciting collaboration between BRP, SLSA and Red Bull.
The beautiful Hampton Beach in Melbourne played host to a unique racing event this season. For the first time, drivers competed in pairs, taking turns behind the wheel of a Can-Am Commander 1000R on the sand. The twist? Each Can-Am towed a Sea-Doo RXT-X 325 personal watercraft on a trailer, adding a layer of difficulty to the challenges.
These challenges were designed to assess the drivers' precision, agility, and reverse parking skills. Australian Lifesavers even joined in the fun, acting as pit crews to expertly attach the Sea-Doos to the Can-Ams.
While the competition kicked off with smiles and laughter, it was clear from the very first challenge (Challenge 1) that the drivers were there to win. Different strategies and techniques were on display as the competition heated up.
